This really stinks!!! I hope you get to knock some sense into the guy!!!
It's pretty awful if your gf needs to change her number due to this idiot!!
Though, if you have mutual friends - then your gf's number might reach this guy anyways.
I just hope that the police-option helps you guys!!!

Rite, report the matter to the police, once it is reported you can get a crime reference number (CFN) from them (its like a record number to say that the crime has been logged) you can then ring your provider and give them this CFN and they will block the ex's number, once this is done and he contacts your gf again you have more solid ground for a restraining order etc
Usually just getting the cops to go to his front door and have a word explainig what could happen would be enough to scare him off
My other idea (which I would not condone and is here for educational purposes only) would envolve a baseball bat and waiting outside his local pub

if you are in the states, i heard that recording a call is legal only if what you are recording is a higher offence than the invasion of privacy caused by the recording. in this case, threats are more serious than recording conversations without permission and i beleive you would have a strong case.
all the best, and i hope you get this resolved soon.

rahul, It depends a lot on which part of the world you are living in. In India the operators CANNOT record phone call until and unless directed by the police with a warrant from the magistrate. If u are here I do hope you got a F.I. R filed without which you have nothing. As for the nov/dec calls you cant have their content.
p.s. nail that @#*&@# cause people like those dont stop till they pay the price.

Thanks to all of you for your replies!
We obviously know it's him calling but he uses a witheld number.....so can we still get him?
.....he started again last week..but this time he is pleading her to come back!
Now i really do think the baseball bat is the option and this will be done this weekend without doubt......hail the balaclava!!!!
She can't record the conversations coz it's a 7210.....

Just make sure you leave no marks with the baseball bat!!
What about putting her sim card into a T610 for a while then recording the calls when the scumbag calls?

If you do what "GodzRekordz" wrote, you will be able to track down the guy and get the proof you need.
Btw, is it just me - but does your screenname sound like "Rupaul"?

Next time he calls, let him know that you now have a recording of his harassment.
He wouldn't be aware that you hadn't, would he?

Omfg what a loser! Don't some phones have a call recording capability? File a restraining order and record his next call, and get his faggot ass to jail. More fresh meat for bubba!
I'm surprised you did not say sue him.
