Yeah, I've been thinking about this too, but the adapter is cold if the battery is full, so I thought it didn't matter....?

notebooks too, i don't think any manufactures will tell you that leaving it with the charger will do it any harm, at least my ibm and apple don't.
well, despite what the manufactures says, personally i usually let the battery run down (not all the way down) before i charge it, and i do take it out of the charger when it's full. except the notebooks, i plug it in whenever i can.

No the cradle can take mains power lead as well as USB connection. Most definitely DOES charge the P900! (Yes the cradle that came with the phone)
