What is the difference between OGG files and Optimised P900 OGG files? And how do you convert to them, what are the settings?

Have to agree on the MSpro quotes, they don't work and probably won't for a while if at all for the P900. I'm sure SE will leave this for the P1000

Scotsboy says:

Oh dear. If you're not careful the Scottish will get a reputation for being tightarses !

The P900 plays MP3s in stereo, even when using a 2.5 to 3.5mm jack adapter. Therefore the P900 is nearly as good as an Ipod in terms of quality...

Surely, stereo vs. mono is not the only measure of quality. The Ipod has several other things that lifts its audio quality above that of the p8/p9.

@ zentro

The P900 does play music in Stereo, I'm sure the quality of the Ipod is better than most other portable music players. For the short term use, the P900 is totally useable "nearly as good" but not as good by any means. Besides the other drawbacks such as battery life and lesser storage space than Ipods.

I agree with that. I also use my P800 as a music player but only because I can't afford an Ipod right now
