Well, for the Z600 they sure did not fix the problem with false notification of email on the outer display when autocheck of email is turned on. In an email from SE I was told in early february that this problem would be fixed in next firmware release. This is the firmware that replaces R5B001 (which I had before) for the Z600 and is now R6C005.

I'm really dissapointed about this.

This post seems to indicate that you can flash both the T610 and z600 with the same firmware file. Is that true? seems a little odd to me.

My terminator should turn up tomorrow so im eager to upgrade my Z600 which currently only has the R2E firmware.

could someone please confirm if this is the case or not? Or is there actually a different firmware file for the z600 but it just has same revision number?

I don't think it is the same file due to the hardware differences between The phones.

I would go for the uniformisation of the firmware version numbers.

I think it's a good thing as more or less T610, Z600 and T630 are the same phones in terms of functionnalities.

Therefore, having all 3 phones with the same firmware numbers makes it clearer for everyone.

ok, i now se offer regular updates, i just got my t630 about three weeks ago, and its got R4C003 on it, whats the main advantage of updaing to this one if anyone knows,

The mainly reason to do the upgrade is to fix bugs on the phone.
