I know what you mean.

It is a silly mod.

Perhaps change your current P800 case to make it unique?

I cant believe some of the feed back that was recived in this forum. Changing the looks is not trying to be fake or anything, its just like buying MAGs for your car, or buying a nice pair of running shoes, buying a pair of running shoes doesnt make you run faster, but you feel good in them. People buy body kits for there cars, there is no difference.

What about those 10million different cases for bokia's, Go to the markets in Hong Kong and you see millions there.

If I can hold of a case, I will give it a shot.

Why not!

No offence guys but i wish i could afford to own either a P800 or a P900, if he wants to mod a P800 to a P900 I admire him, hes gettin a good lookin phone for a lot smaller price, i mean some people want to change their phones colour so they spray it, and no-one has a problem with that, but when some-one wants to take a old design and make it look newer and more up to date every1 seems to be bitchin about it, i mean whats the big deal here?

Yes guys... I think that the look of p800 is its greatest disadvantage. The p9 itself is just a minor improvement except for the case. I wish the modding was possible. This message was posted from a R520

It is possible, I dont have a link right now, but a chinese(japanese?) guy took a P900 cover and put it on a P800, there were pictures from the progress to so it wasnt just a fake. He had to fix some of the edges but it looked quite easy(though I couldnt read anything it was all in chinese(japanese?)

People who say they cant afford a P900.. well why not get a job? I had a Nokia 3330 in November, I decided I wanted a new phone, got a job (part time). Two months later i bough a P900..

yeah but for me to sit here and look at the P900, I think its a waste of money to buy it, I have a P800 and I have two batteries. The screen is not a huge concern to me, well not worth buying a totaly new phone. But if I can spent 30euro on a case then I would do it.

I have more then enough money to buy a P900, but I dont like wasting money and I think it would be a waste of money to buy the P900 when you have a P800, hence the new PX00 is coming out soon. Im going to buy that! Because that will be a new phone, not just a make-up fix.

But for fun and something to do, I would spend the money for a looks-upgrade.

I think the person who replied "cheapskate" is just arrogant. I see nothing wrong when a person wants to change the look of his/her phone. This message was posted from a P800
