The upgrade was free because i brought my phone from then i dont know if it cost if u didnt buy it from CPW. I walked in there and asked to upgrade and they said ok and did it!

I didnt purchase my t6 from the CPW but the repair centre in leeds (harrogate road) did the upgrade FOC and in one hour (phone is on orange)

I've just phoned them up (Cross Street, Manchester) and the guy told me that I might have to book it in for a few days as they are really busy.. But, that was a worst case scenario, and he wasn't an engineer so he couldn't give me an exact time.
To book the phone in for the upgrade, you have to go into the store.
My only problem is that I'm travelling back home Thursday night, and leaving again on Sunday.... lets hope things go smoothly...

Well, I can confirm that Carphone Warehouse (Cross Street, Manchester) do the upgrade..
Sadly they were very busy and said it would take 3 days, due to the amount of phones they have booked in for repair.
This left me stuck as I was only in Manchester till the Sunday
.
So here I'am will my boring old T68....
Does anyone know of a service center in or around the Banbury (Oxford) area??? I'm sure this is a long shot, as its quite a small town really..

Do not go to the Carphone - they say three days for upgrade and people even in their repair centre are so badly trained they have no idea what they are talking about. They guy in Chapel Street London - was unbelievably Rude and ignorant like he said he got his T68 done in about 90 mins - bull.... Smug GIT. They wanted three days to upgrade mine! I told him where to stick it as it is known it takes less than an hour for the upgrade.
No wonder he is a phone salesman - sh*t for brains. I have written to complain and will only continue to use them cos they are silly enough to price match 110% of the difference of the cheapest available price. Though probably subsidised by the mugs that actually pay the prices they advertise.
I went to the SonyEricsson centre in tottenham and surprise surprise it took them witha friendly face - no longer than half an hour to upgrade mine. Go there - very knowledgeable.
