if you dont know any other mp3 players that have a longer battery life and better sound output (as in louder and less distorted) then you cant really argue with me, i know what im talking about when i say the ipod is crap as ive spent many hours researching these devices. as for the battery, yes they say 8 hours but you will get about 6 hours out of it since 8 hours is perfect conditions. my iriver says 16 hours and i get about 10 out of it

Ok sorry guys i know that an ipod is better than a p900 at playing music that wasnt meant to be the point of my post...

I wanted to know NOT that it has big memory and plays sightly better music. BUT if its lay out is like that of the music ud store on ur iTune play on ur PC/Mac and if so would this be possible with the P900...

Havin a app for Mp3 storage, which orders all your music making it easy to flip from one album to another , tracks to tracks and so on... Sync to PC and so on...

Just thought it would be cool if we could do that too

(also is ipod mp3 or a different formate?)

Ipod plays mp3 and aac (music store uses aac). It's nice to have ipod if u have high-bitrate mp3s. It's useless if u have ogg library This message was posted from a R520

Of course people rather choose to have a ipod if they want a good interface that is easy to use. Fast upload/download and HUGE capacity (30gb). You cant compare these devices. Don't misunderstand, i love se, but it is a bit too much "fanboyish" to not see this. This message was posted from a T610

Oh good then. I had a feeling I didnt know what I am talking about and you do..., but it got just clear to me after you mentioned it...

LOL

I wanted to see some examples and not a link that shows really nothing... and btw my iPod Battery lasts 8 Hours, but you know it just better I guess..

Anyway ---> Goldfinger, if u want to listen to Music in a easy and comfortable way, get yourself a nice MP3 Player... iPod or whatever you like best...

ooh come on surely you are smart enough to spot the compare link, you can select 2 or more mp3 players and compare their stats! you managed to sign up to this site, go on, give it another try.

also, your ipod cant beat the fact that my iriver currently holds 1500 songs and has the whole second series of 24 on it!!!!

in situations like this its about how much you are prepered to compromise
if you want to hear the music as its was intended then a good portable cd player and good set of headphones (not the crap you get free but a pair for around £50) is a must for portable music but you need something to carry your cd around in and a phone
if you want a to sacrife some sound quality but store more then get an md player
if you want to sacrifce even more sound quality but not carry anything but your phone then an ipod or some form of mp3 player is a must
if all you wanrt to carry is one device and a couple of memory cards then a p900 is for you (but it will have worse sound qulaity ) as it does a whole lot more and has more electronics to mess with the sound
in terms of interface you could easily adapt to any of the about in a matter of days
