Tariff I got mine on was 120 min anytime/network at £25 p.c.m.
I phoned Orange several times asking about upgrades and got ridiculously high upgrade quotes specially as my old phone was a T39 and I hadn't upgraded in ages (you'd think that would count for something eh?...

).
It was only when I asked for the PAC code to switch to 02 that they did a U turn... first asking me why and then passing me over to a customer service agent who made me the offer of the P900 at the more realistic price

(methinks they have a special desk to deal with customers threatening to leave or something...

)

My previous contract before getting my p900 through Orange was with (unfortunately) through Singlepoint.(Phones4U.) I really was not impressed with their service. However, I threatened to leave (immediately after the 12 months), as the upgrade quotes for a p900 was just pathetic. The operator was trying to give me a V300 and all other lesser mobiles, but when they see you know exactly what you want and know your phone facts, their strategy seemed to change somewhat. After I sent my cancellation letter, via recorded delivery, I received a call from one of their operators in their 'Retention Department.' Now negotiations could really begin! They gave me a substantially better offer. Before I could complete the negotiations, I was interrupted at work and asked the operator to phone me back in 10 minutes. This never happened. I phoned Singlepoint, but they CANNOT/ will not put you directly through to the retention team. They tell you that they will email the retention team to call you back. They also seemed amazed at the offer that the retention team offered me. Anyway, I got tired of waiting after several days, went to the Orange shop and showed them the offer from Singlepoint's retention team. I asked them if they could match it. The manager offered me an even better deal, as well as making use of Orange's £75 MGM special. This is when someone eg. a friend on Orange recommends you to take out an Orange contract. They get £25 credit and you get £50 credit once you take out the contract. I think this offer expires soon, not too sure. Paid in £79.99 for the p900, on Talk 400 and can change tariff after 3 months. Some people have quoted better prices for p900's in these forums, but as a new customer to Orange, that was the best I could get at the time. Oh, and they were the only ones that had 2 p900's left, even after checking countless websites!

Hi all,
P900 is out of stock because there are some supply/quality issues with SE. It will be available on Orange as soon as SE can get the stock to them. I only know bcoz i work for Orange.
K
I also work for orange and our latest memo from head office states Orange have discontinued the P900.
We are launching the K700 in June, Z1010 in July, S700 in August.
Rumor has it we are working closely with SE to be the first to release the successor to the P900 at the end of this year (this last part is not official!
