P800 - doesnt look sony,
P900 - schell designed by sony with same inside of Ericsson
i don't agree with that - as far as phone designs go, Ericsson always had the edge over Sony, and the P800 looks far more like some "fun" sony product than anything Ericsson would have put out themselves. In fact, compare the P800 and P900 (both "Sony Ericsson" products) with the T68m and T68i (one Ericsson, one SE). The Sony-influenced T68i shares the same baby-blue colour of the P800, but the original Ericsson designed T68m actually matches the colours and textures of the P900.
My guess is it was Sony that initially steered the design course of the new company when it was formed, but they've now realised their mistakes and have let the Ericsson influence back in.

Soz Matey but I have to disagree with you there cos I went down to my local Carphone Warehouse on the 9/6/04 at 5pm and walked out 10 minutes later carrying a brand new P900 (at the cost of £469 sim free). It was the last one in the store however but they said they could have one delivered to me within 2 days.

Aye I got mines the other day (guy had to order it in though) and it came with the latest firmware on it, and strangely my 256MB duo stick works perfectly on it. *Had you going* hehe
No seriously though, they are just popular I think.
