No actually I'm the kind of guy who walks in expecting to be given the information I require & not to be told something that I know full well to be incorrect!
I would respect them a lot more if they just say 'sorry, I don't know' instead of making up false info!
From my experience P4U are by far the worst for this as they are hell bent on gettin u hooked on a contract & couldn't give a damn about finding 'the right Phone 4U!'
U may very well be a good, well informed employee but obviously I have unfortunately never come across u

Sadly there are no SE, Nokia or other stores around here. Only Provider stores like AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon and Nextel or stores that sell a combination of them. None of them however does repairs or service on phones you buy unlocked. All of them have to be send in. Now that sucks here in the US where I live. So it is at least a 3week wait until you see your phone again.

i totally agree about how stupid people are that work in phone shops phones 4u are only interested in sales and meeting targets they couldnt give a shit about if you have the right phone and dont think about asking for help with what a phones does you will just get blank stares cant wait until sony centres start to sell phones

dont know if anyone here knows this but some sony centres in the uk have been seeling sonyericsson products for ages! The Sony center on Tottenham Court Road (london) have been selling sonyericsson phone and accessories for well over a year!

I've never thought of looking for SE products in SonyCenters here for some reason because now that I think of it, it would totally make sense! I'll check, but I think that they won't sell sim free phones because here in Canada, very few dealers do that here because most phones are distributed only by certain operators...which sucks...not sure my reply is clear but I can't think of another way to put it

Where in UK are you? I don't know for sure if every UK SonyCentre is aiming for June 30th just Preston one said they are but it would make sense that others would do the same.
