Dude i seriously suggest u wait. I mean....its kinda like deciding wether to buy the k700 now or s700 later (even though u know the specs for the s700) Plus waiting has its advantages like the pxxx could be a great fone or the p900 would become mega cheap when the pxx is released. So waiting is your best offer


P.S As far as rumours go I dont kno. Ask masseur or one of the other guys

surely, you know the next version of SE would be expensive, if not more than P900.

p900 is a great phone and given it's been out for a while. i am sure you can get a decent deal now. just go get the phone. you can wait for the next version, whenever it comes out, but i doubted you would be pleased with the price either.

you can always wait for the latest and greatest. but then again, when the Pxxx comes out, there will be the next latest and greatest in the horizon. does it make sense?

I am not saying I don't have enough money for the Pxxx it's just that why would I buy a P900 and then let's say 6 month later have to spend another 1000 dollar (that's say it's 1000 dollar, i don't know lol)for a Pxxx? Just doesn't make sense to me and If i want to sell my P900 then, the market value for this phone(P900) would go down cuz the new one is out. You see what I mean?
I understand what you mean. The bad thing about living in Vancouver Canada is that there is practically no cell phone company supply this phone with any plan. Even with Fido, with contract, I will have to pay 900 dollar Canadian for the P900. There are a few stores that just sell the phone and they still want around 1000 for the phone alone. (There IS no cheap deal here in Vancouver. Sadly)

I would wait, as I am also. I have a P800 and I think it would have been a waste of money if I was to get the P900, there is nothing the P900 can do that the P800 cant. So I am waiting. I would also bet it comes out before xmass. The others were meant to also, but they didnt. I think SE would have learnt by now and it should be released on time.

As for sure the P1000(what ever) will be a huge jump from these two models, simple because there is nothing else to upgrade a little. Think about it.

they upgraded a better screen from P8 - P9. They wont just do another screen upgraded. Nor just a ram upgrade. If they do a camera upgraded it will be a 1.3MP, If they dont do that, what would they do??????? WiFi maybe ???? what else is there????? Pro Duo ?????...... Thinner size ??????...

What I am trying to say there is not much they can improve in the new model without making a huge jump. So it will be worth the wait!

And if its not worth it, the P900 will be so cheap! you could buy two of them!

This picture ( from www.memorystick.com ) shows that both ( Dou and Duo PRO ) have serial and parallel interface...

I think it is possible Pxxx support PRO
but if SE makes this upgrade ,what about marketing???
We are still discuss to buy p800 or p900 and most of the people do not offer to buy p900.

Then how this company makes money???
