Just one question following on from the excellent advice in this thread:

Is K700i loudspeaker stereo?

If not why not convert mp3's into mono to save space?

What's best quality between Joint stereo and normal stereo?

p.s. Oops, that was 3 questions.

I also found that using a high bitrate, such as 320kbps, caused the same ''skipping'' problem.

@nez...
Well the speaker is not sterio or at least does'nt sound so...And it hardly makes a difference in size on converting either in sterio or mono...I tried to check this out and the MP3 " Summer of 69-Bryan Adams" plays just the same in either modes...! Size is negliegble...

uploaded a 320 kbs mp3 yesterday. Had the same skipping problem.
Or try to play a mp3 and then go to your camera. Phone can't handle that.

I've found that using 192 kbps actually worked better than 320kbs, although its not perfect. Maybe a half way point such as 220kbps may be the best option... Also, for thos of you who are looking for a decent free MP3 encoder to sort out this bitrate problem i recommend Acoustica MP3 to WAV converter (the serial keys etc for the full version can be found easily on the net).
