T-Mobile UK, USA, DE, AUS, CZ, NL and Russia:- all do not charge for either MMS or WAP settings via OTA. They are also available free of charge via there respective websites. Cheers, Me :-D

Hutch india charges for the message sent. but imo that should be free too. I for one never pay for the text. Just enter settings manually :-)

Nope, u are worng there m8. DiGi Telecomunications (Malaysia) does charge RM0.50 per sms configuration for MMS/GPRS. I got conned, if i knew that before, i wud have entered it manually or sent it via OTA from their website.

@lynx, true about that. But not everyone has the internet. The majority will have to pay for the call.
@plasmadog, I'm talking payasyougo/prepay/non contract. You get charged to speak to someone on all the prepay networks, not for other options, just customer care as a last resort.
Most contract phones however have the settings already or have an option to get them in the phone by sms. Not sure if they charge for speaking to someone on contract?
