It has pretty much the same specs as the XDA2 so i cant see it being the XDA3. If it is, i can see it being like what SE have done, released a slightly improved P910 over the P900.

True it does have almost the same specs as the XDA2, however the model now has:

Wifi
Keyboard
Smaller size
25% battery

Both models are in a league of there own with CPU and memory!

Also the XDA4 which is another rumor is for 3G. So different slice of cake.

I would suggest the continuance of these xda things will go on for a while, as pda technology betters, so will these since that is where their looks actually come from i suppose...

So whilst the XDA 4 is merely speculation, something close to it should really appear, O2 have made a startling amount out of the XDA2 cornering a prosperous business market successfully... as for whether it would be 3g, then who knows again... if it were to be released there would surely be a year's wait at the least (though rumours again would have it that it may appear in Q1 or 2 of next year, i doubt that if the xda 3 is to be released this year though)

I laugh at the 25% battery increase... maybe now it'll be able to make it through the day! ... I recall the lovely sales woman blatantly lying to me by saying that the XDA2 would last nearly a fortnight with moderate use!

When will manufactuers realise that slidey outey keyboards are great, but a battery which lasts a few days at least, with use, would be so much better - and the effect of wifi on top of this would be quite comical i am sure !

My XDA2 lasts me 2-3 days. Mostly PDA use, i use my K700i as my main phone.

The battery life is poor for a phone, but for a PDA with a 400mhz cpu its not that terrible. I get just over 5 hours of use on average, but i only use the thing about 2 hours per day.

The XDA3 will be out in Aug or Sept. Confirmed by T-Mobile, they say Q3 and speaking with a few guys in the shops they say Aug. The XDA4 I here is not made by the same company(HTC) in china and is made by a different company, only making it because it sis a Quad band phone with 3G. They want to get something out to stay in the market in that section. However I dont know who will be bringing the XDA4 out? As the HTC phones are made and sold by many companies, hence why they have so many different names!!!! XDA MDA CU928 I-mate and a few others.

I am sure the new battery will last longer!

That XDA3 is disappointing though, its still got the same specs as the XDA2 almost, so its pointless me upgrading.

Next phone for me, either S700 or P1000.

True! for you who is lucky to have a XDA2. But remember the XDA3 has more upgrade parts from the old model then the P900 to P910!

I like it cause I think the keyborad is nice and can be useful. Its now got wifi and bluetooth! which is a huge bouns. And yeah about the same spec's! does it realy need to improve, still on of the best pda's out! Fast heaps of memory! what else do you want? a 1 gig processor?

I was hoping for at least a 600mhz CPU to run some serious apps that can only be run on 400mhz PDA's using overclocking tools.
