i can only offer a no fix no fee service on trying to repair this fault as every phone generally if a different case like say could be many things

I put a piece of paper under the batt cover to end that cracking noise of the cover. As written in the former post non fones are the same.

Update: As some of you already predicted: Sony Ericsson sent me a list of SE Service Points in the Netherlands and told me to contact one of them. I will do so when I have the time.
More and more I am thinking that the sudden switching off-problem is caused by a bad battery.
I am also getting "battery is empty!" warnings on the phone, even when the battery is still 70% charged!!!
