@JN. P910 over here will probably start at around £700 - £800 sim free. When I got my sim free P900 in June it cost me £470 so S700 will be less than a P910 imo.
The K700i that I bought last month cost me £340 sim free also.

@staz081277 - Ohhh my goodness . . . and it's more expensive than I thought . . . not a practical to buy here in my turf, that amount can even buy me an '84 model car, old but still running (price of a brand new SE P910)!

I know. Its very high. Deffo wont be buying a P910 until at least this time next year if I can be bothered to get on at all. Havent been impressed with my P900 so far. Mainly because I only used it for a week. The other 2 1/2 months it has spent at the manufacturers and I still not got it back
I think the S700 will be my final
phone though. If its dissappointing then it can go and I'll stay with my K700 for a while until I find something else.

well, I would still stick with my P800 as it still serves my needs... maybe I am still not into convergence "deep" yet... as I have a palmone PDA, a Sony P92 and a Sony handycam...

Have just read Bengalboys S700 review. Think I may wait a little and see what the outcome is before I go and buy it. Not sure now. His review has put a dark cloud on my buying one as it looks like the S700 is only a very very small step up from a K700.

I think that the S700 would be great for folks that have waited and decided to skip the K700.
Though I do kinda see the phones swivel design as a problem for folks that do a lot of SMSing.
As for the camera aspect, I don't think it was meant as a camera to capture those "Kodak" moments, but there are instances where you thought to yourself, "I wish I had a camera with me" and I think the S700 would be more than enough for something of that situation.
I'm still planning on getting this phone (or should I say the S710) but I'm waiting until either my local carrier starts selling it, or when the phone goes down to a reasonable price level.
