nothing strange about that... a camera phone is the ultimate tool for industry espionage... at work, pretend like you are at writing a sms but in reality you are taking pictures of a totally new mobile design for a upcoming Nokia phone and then sell the pictures to many swedish companies have banned camera phones in production enviroments to prevent this kind of spying. I have even seen examples where companies have removed the camera from Qtek 2020 so they can be used by the employees...

think about it...how often do you use your camera on your phone?

Do you have a normal better camera on hand when you do?

Most of the time i do have a better camera on hand and i dont use the cam that often.

Unless i have been asked to sign something (& happily signed it) i photograph whatever i like. wherever i like, whenever i like.

Its the same as my driving,i drive at MY speed, & park where i want, for as long as i want,......

..... i am finding it increasingly difficult to get insurance

This may be a stupid question, but can the camera be disabled or removed from the T610?

The thing that bothers me about this is that I work in the department that houses all of the drawings/documents of our product. I also have access to my computer at work from home. They were just talking the other day about how their employees are trusted and how the company and it's employees have integrity. Whatever!

Keep the advice coming!

sure it's possible to remove it, it's just soldered on the PCB. To disable it you need to rewrite parts of the firmware.

I've got a T68i you can HAVE. Free.

Picture:

TriBand, Bluetooth, a pair of batteries, new front facia (genuine OEM), IMEI number on phone & label match, battery catch OK, volume switch OK, IR port cover OK, phone tested on O2 contract & PAYG, also Orange PAYG. I used to fix T68/T68i's on eBay, but the bottom has dropped out of the market....

I must be in a good mood tonight...

(BTW, thats not a genuine keypad. I haven't got any left - but the 3rd-party pad glows a nice shade of blue, eh?!)

happycheesecake- I'd love it! Is it locked? Are you sure you want to get rid of it for free?
