> PC Suite release 3.0.0 - Does it work?

Guys I have a prob. Im running PC suite version 2.4.1 with my P900 and everytime i go to synchronise, it says initiating but never does anything after that!
I tried re-installing the PC suite and the drivers for the synch station, but no joy. Any ideas?
PS back-up seems to work fine so its not a prob with the setup etc i dont think!

For me 2.4.1 works just fine.
maybe you should try 3.0. could work for you. kind of reverse errors.

I tried that. It didnt work with 3.0 so i went back to 2.4.1 and now thats not working!!! Ahhhh!!!

I have just tried to synch my p800 after doing fresh install of pc suite v3 and having paired my phone using xp sp2 bt. Cant synch with outlook 2003. Has anyone managed this?

try the readme file that comes with the suite.
1. Make sure you're not in Work Offline mode
2. Disable any local firewalls for testing
3. Can you access the fone with Filemanager? (Made by Epocware)
4. Does it work in the cradle?

worked here from 1st try!
XP SP2 firewall asked me to allow mrouter, I did that and since then works like a breeze, BT recognizes phone on the fly and sync'ing works.
Using SE Sync v3.0 with XP SP2, Outlook 2003, BT plug (=Sitecom USB dongle) using native XP driver, XP firewall enabled (with exceptions allowed of course)
BT portnumber is COM500 in my P900 connection window, no need to enable the other ports
