> K700i a poor phone?

i'm also from the philippines. i just bought my k700i last month at php24,500 at se authorized dealer/distributor. unfortunately the firmware of my k700i is r2a, i will be upgrading the firmware nextweek. i could say this phone is okay. i like it coz its small. i dont have worries using it on public places. i like best on my k700i is the camera (not the night mode),the radio and the brilliant screen (unlike myp800 before).with regards to the battery its ok for me coz i had an excuse. as you have read the previous post replys, its very true. it is really up to you want you wanted on a phone. and your lifestyle. try to review all the post regarding k700i before you buy. for me, this website helps me a lot on my decision.

Just like to say that the k700i is not a poor phone, it is the best phone i have ever owned! Great features, but the best thing about se k700i id.. i know its sad....but the menu, its great so colourful and attractive... Im juust going to crawl back into my shell now...

My fw is r1a ( i think) will it make any difference to the camera if i upgrade?

just got my K700 4 days ago. and find that its really a very very good phone compared to others. seriously i never regret getting this phone. its graphic really turns me on man. hahaha i love its graphic. its nice

The K700 sure is a great phone. But it would have been much better If it had external memory support. Thats the only thing to crib about.

in my eyes, only bluetooth and bigger screen. otherwise is the same phone. k500i is one of the best phones in the segment, but k700i is a _very_ lame phone when compared with 6230

I am using BT everyday and also prefer not bigger but better resolution screen. so k700 is a perfect phone for me... I had nokia 6230 before and just didn't like it (as i said before SE sofware is miles away than Nokia Series40, but that's just my opinion)...
K500 is very good value and entry level phone and yes except the BT and higher resolution there are not that much differencie - even running at the same software.
I was just commenting on K700 as entry level phone...
