Benchmarks show that the P910 is as fast as the P800, if not slightly faster.
This means that's your fault the P910 being so slow.
The best option is to format and re-install everything.
But if I would you I would start by dumping Theme you are using (P800 doesn't have them), and try a default theme.
Oh yeah, and kill that Flush-on-Flip-Close option on SMan. That's the main reason people complain the apps take so long to load.

i always felt like p910i was slow and not only when i want write a message , sometimes it feels like waiting for a 1 minute or more to open programs , or even for watching pics fullscreen takes ages

try shutting down some open apps, mine does this when tomtom mobile is open in the background - use Sman to see and flush open apps that arn'et required and using battery

the only time mine goes slow is when loading the media player... but i think thats because i have 400+ songs ... takes about 10 secs to load

@ tom , my p was slow when i didnt use sman , i was slow when i used( still using) sman , still some hangs when im using route 66

it could be because i always want devices to be very fast , even my pc feels slow at the moment (p4 , 3ghz processor , 1 g, work memory )
