How comes that a fw can cause a pixel problem? Isnt it a manufacturing faulty on screen?

The pixel is being drawn onto the screen, it is not pixel dropout. You can turn off the display by pressing the centre of the joystick and the pixel dissapears along with the rest of the icons and information on screen.
Someone at Vodafone has simply not completely cleared the screen for the bit of software which draws the display. 10/10 for quality testing then!!!

I've attached a picture with the HUD on and then off. You can see the pixel disappears with the display. Also, I have already had one exchange and the pixel is in the exact same spot.

i think thats why it could be bug in the software as if it was a dead pixel, it would be constantly visible.

Or its a fone faulty, otherwise all branded ones would have it. Maybe they will make a recall.
