Ok, I had that issue the first time I tried syncing my P910. Here's a solution I found:

1) Update your Office XP with the latest Office patch (This is actually the one that causes a lot of the sync problems)

2) Outlook has to be set as your default mail program. (shut down all other email programs, then restart Outlook)

That should solve your Calendar sync problem.

Hi, I have the same problem, ie.e cannot synchronize with Outlook it keeps telling me ...either there is no default mail client.....Please run MS Outlook and set it as the default mail client" What on earth does this mean and where can I set such a thing????

I have nothing on Outlook as I don't use it having had everything on Palm up to now. Rather than introducing all data into Outlook and synchronizing PC to Phone could I use my Palm data instead in some manner? Is there any device/Program that could do this for me????

Thanks a million

Hi All, Itīs the first time I join a forum and this is because I had to. I've been using P910 since a while and never could synchronize with Outlook Calendar.

Finally, thanks to jplacson posted solution it was possible and it seems to be working ok...

I'll let you know further if I have any problems

man, what a nightmare. I was about to start using outlook so that I could sync all my appointments but after reading this I'll forget it. Pity, I hope they've sorted this issue for the p990

Hi

Actually I just recently got my P910i used, and I never had an SE before. All of this said, Synchronizing went like a breeze. I read that the new version of SE sync software is more compatible with Outlook. I have the SE 3.11 version, and Outlook 2003, even recurring events are synched, contacts, notes, tasks (todos), the whole nine yard.

Happy camper here....

So I want to synchronize Calendar between Outlook and P910. I installed PC Suite 3.0.0, connected desk stand to my computer with Xp Sp2. XP sees the phone. In synchronization settings I checked calendar and selected to synchronize all information. I can start synchronization and when process finishes I can't see any errors. BUT, when I look at calendar in my phone there are no appointments in there:( What I am doing wrong there? My phone is with latest firmware I just bought it yesterday. HELP ME!:)
