Just wait 2 or 3 months,and the s7 will be dirt cheap just like the k7!this day and age however,£500 aint really a great deal of cash imo.but i suppose everybodys budget differs.

S700 is a big phone.It's quite thick when closed,and when open it takes up a alot of space.There's no ecaping it,it's right in your face.

The phone is undoubtedly overpriced, though most megapixel camphones are expensive at the moment. It's the same with all evolving technology - when the bar is raised (i.e. 2MP camphone is released) you will see prices of 1.3MP camphones fall dramatically. At the moment, I can only assume that they are relatively expensive to produce.
The way I see it, there's no point in getting bitter with
for releasing it at that price. The consumer can vote with his wallet and I don't think there's any chance at all, judging by the hype and the initial sales, that this phone will bomb.

Exactly. Ok the 7610 is expsensive but not only is it a megapixel camera, it is a series 60 and is about the same size at the s700i before the s700i is even twisted!!!! The 7610 is the bets phone ever!!!!!

i guess k700 is the best substitute for s700, again i think we should wait for some time as
is going to launch some new camera phones in few months and as always those phones will also be very overpriced
the bottom line is we should wait till the price of s700 comes down

I,too,think :se: is milking us.I've been expecting this since only the t610 was the only phone at the right price.I wanted the s700 but to pay this for a phone,no way.I'll w8 anotha 3 mönths and get something cheaper with the same specs..i wanna know something:if the megapixel chip is so expensive why r the others much cheaper than :se: ?
