My P900 do not turn off when I press the powerbutton... I have to press it once more to turn off the phone... So you must be pressing it alot...

Magiclauncher by Symbianwave also has keymapping functions along with other useful functions. Might give it a try, works brilliant for me on my P800.

change the function of the power key to any thing else, and when you want to turn your P910 off rechange it to its real function.
