i must admit the pricing of sony ericsson mobile phones (recommeded retail prices although the carphone warehouse are much kinder than the online
eshop!) is getting a bit out of hand - but they are growing slowly and their designs are innovative.
they are growing - and we just have to wait. but look at esato! have we all left sony ericsson? no! there is still much support for
- and one other thing, i think the cpw are giving
much credit. it goes nokia then sony ericsson - not nokia then siemens but
. and their phones are described in a very inviting way - however the s700i is described as having a vga cam
(on the cpw website)
lets just stick by
, and hope they sort the pricing lark out.

Its like cars, you pay for the badge with a Merc, but not a Skoda! You pay for the Badge with
, and not with say, Trium or NEC.

I just cannot believe that SE is being compared or even 'surpassed' by the performance of LG fone brand! Not even the Panasonic nor Samsung can come close to it, Nokia maybe . . .

About your original comments 1-8: you say exactly the same of any brand. Just cut/paste the brandname and modelnumbers.
It is so easy to set absurd high standards and then complain that somebody is not reaching them. Waw, aren't we all impressed by the standards you set.
You claim to want something smaller with bigger and better screen and better cam and more memory and more functions (without ever leaving one out!) and a completely new design every year.
(What? Every year? Every year is for sissies! Every quarter!)

@bobafett - What I am really confused 'bout is this old 'household' appliance brands venturing into the celfone market and wants to take a share/slice of the 'big-pie'. Like in the past, Sony are only good in making TVs, VCRs, and components, so in the like of the Panasonic! Even the limited releases of the Sony fone models I guess did not click much
That's why they merged with Ericsson . . . Oh boy, who knows when one day we will just see Whirlpool has it's own celfone models out in the market too, so goes with Black and Decker! Ohhh, isn't it that Bosch made some fones in the past

we can now sit here posting about the problems and our vieuws on SE.
or we can start talking how we can help them.
i'm on old member here on easto. i'm also a member on many forums. and during the years i've seen alot and learnd alot.
on the other forums like mobileburn, mobile-review and gsmarena. you can clearly see the evolution. the moment SE introduced the K700 the intrest in SE went down. alot of other fanboys are growing. nokia was always big. but now we can see fans talking about motorola and samsung. and we all know that they don't come close to SE or even nokia.
so i would like all of you that have the time to post on those forums. spread the word again, make SE popular again. make them the top brand on the forums again. if we can do that i'm sure SE will appriciate it and gives us what we want. i know that SE hangs arround on the forums. so show them how good there fans are. if they can see that we are doing our best, then they'll do there best to provoide us with phones that we can't even imaging

@bart wise words. But se should take over the responsibility in case adv aswell. And take more care in a fone like more contacts, how many sms can be stored, more shortcuts etc next to tons of mbs for pix, games etc much to do and we keep to se, aslong they keep to our imaginations about a fone.

@yomans i dont think thats the biggest problem, maybe for u and some others, but thats a minority of mob fone users as i see. The market and user wishes are big and different.
