I own S700i and I don't think its image quality is good enough to let my Canon Digital IXUS 430 stay at home when I want to take good shots during an event. S700i cost way to much and it does only offer you good display and good mobile photo quality. Anyway I just take shots for MMS purpose. I hoped to see the ability to create a playlist for your mp3 but I was wrong and for that, S700i simply fails to be used as a MP3 player.
The V800 does not have the same super display or built-in camera with CCD-sensor but it does have the ability to create a playlist for your MP3s and videos. It also allows you to download things faster than before and it is also smaller than S700i which I think is too big for my taste. Othwerwise they both do the same.
UI to V800 is even nicer than the one in K700i/S700i

v800 is a much better device, it has a great flash for taking pictures aswell. the branding can be removed easily. the motion eye is great because it means you can take a photo with the flip closed using the external screen which is a great feature founded by samsung in the e700

K I get my V800....takes seriously half an hour to get rid of all voda branding..now im just waiting for a titanium z800 faceplate and I'll officially have a z800...so maybe the V800 is not as good but the Z800 Kiks ass!!

The s700i only supports 128mb ms duo, while the v800 supports 1gb PRO duo.

I have both s700i and v802SE, s700i has a better screen more clear than v802SE, but s700i is a little bulkier than v802SE, talking about the camera feature i think s700i takes better pictures the difference is not much, v802SE has more light with its 6 leds while s700i has no more than 1 led.
