I may be daft or something, but there is one thing I don't understand. Why does one have to buy credits from somewhere to to be able to flash a phone? Isn't there any programs that you can just download as any other application and go about your business without being charged money for flashing your phone?

Not for the setool/davinci no. But what I meant was that it seems all flashing programs seem to work this way. It almost seems as if there was a monopoly at the flash-app-market. And why the awkward solution of buying credits? Why can't you just buy a licence to the app as you would with any other app in the world...

The GSM industry is big business, everybody wants a piece of the pie. The are programs that do not require credits at all. They retail at around £200 GBP. Then you can flash/unlock all you want.

i purchased a code to flash my p910i, stupid me didnt realise it couldnt be done DOH!
so i asked for a refund, i know my payment was recieved (i didnt recieve a code or a refund) and i have sent 3 emails
certainly wont be using there services in the future
customer service doesnt seem to exist

as for davinciteam, it doesnt debrand P910... it can only do unlocking.
it can only debrand/flash k5, k7, s7, z10, v8

then i realised i couldnt flash it so i asked for a refund
i havent even heard anything from them
they never sent any lgoin details or replyed to my emails
least if i had login details i could have sold the credit and made my money back
