> S700i camera light as a Torch
Bookmark topic
I have a SPF-10 phone flash with my T610, almost sure it have the same led type as K700/S700/V800, and when attached to the phone has a menu to use it as flash, torch or emergency light with blinking S.O.S.

Two pages of post on this subject. Simply incredible. Almost too funny, if it weren't so sad.

How long are we talking about using the light, hours, seconds, mins? I have been using my light on either my s700 or k700 for weeks with no ill effects or major battery issues. I can not see the concern here about something so trivial.

@boba, flash do affect batt use, but it doesn't drain it too fast.

@ bobafett
For goodness sake, there's more to life than achieving seven weeks battery life out of your phone! Just USE IT! As long as I can use everything as much as I possibly want to & it lasts a full day I'm happy. It's not difficult to charge it up again!
@ Asterix
I have the flash attachment to & it's the same type of LEDs but is much brighter cos it has SIX!
Makes a great torch!

@ bobafett
obviously I wasn't suggesting you shouldn't have that opinion but I think if you apply that logic to everything you'd never use any features of the phone. For the sake of charging it more often you may as well get FULL use out of it

MilkSP,
Good point. Then BobaFett, turn off your phone and put it back in the box so that you do not have to worry about the battery, or it getting scratched, or key damage. It is only a phone. Enjoy the phone dude. Life is too short. Hell, I have not had a phone for more than 6 months at a time. If I see a phone that I want, I buy it pure and simple regardless of the price or the battery capacity.
