Geez... did you read the whole thread? I am now using P910i with 22MB of ram and still this happens! It's because of P910i has got 20MB+ of RAM that makes me believe that this issue will go away but IT HAS NOT!!!

How weird!!!

I read about your problem yesterday - never having it myself though and then today suddenly it was on my P900!!!

After a reboot the problem was fixed but still...

I never turn off my P900 because I also use it as an alarm and that won't function if the P900 is turned off - bummer!!!
(any solutions to this...?¿? )

@Fox Hunter,

I am still trying very hard and posted my findings on as many Symbian forums as I can currently and sincerely hoped someone from these forums can assist to relate the issue up to SE. I even went all the way to SE's official Developers forums and started posting there Please please can someone help to relate this issue to your local SE support?

Thanks Foxhunter I guess if more and more people started calling their SE local support, I am sure SE will eventually realised this issue. The problem over in my country is that yes, many complained in our local fourms, but I am the only one calling up SE to complain in the end. Can all those who read this thread and is affected by this issue please please call up your local SE support line so that a call can be logged via their Helpdesk and I am sure one of these days it will get escalated to the right people in SE to get it resolved. Thanks!

I have just hanged up the phone to my local se support center (using the phonenumber provided with the phone).

They knew the problem and said that they had only heard of the problem if the phone had been on for months - I corrected him and said weeks (depending of the usage of handwriting...)

The solution was to take off the battery and wait for 10 s (bulls..t) Otherwise perform a master reset and software update - if allready done give the phone to the place you bought it, and they will send it in to S/E for a tjeck...

A funny thing was that he couldn't explain what they could do with the phone in a service center when updating it, that was different from doing it at home over the internet - it was a secret... yeah right!

Please report back what you hear

I am curious of what happened after you guys pushed Sony Ericsson with this issue. Any luck?

I too suffer from the very same problem.

@ dekesh,

at first I too suspect it could be some apps that had crashed with the Jot Pro, thus decided to reformat C: from service menu and reformat MS DUO too. Then we uses our P900 in plain vanilla mode, w/o any apps nor media files placed in C: or D:... 3 days down the road voila... happens exactly the same

@ jchu2

are you using your P900 24/7 turned ON? If you turn your phone off everyday or reboot everyday, this issue will not happen...

@ Foxhunter,

it's really a pain that SE doesn't know what happened to the Jot Pro, and strange thing is, my local SE support claims never heard of this issue but yours did??? Till date there's still no news from any forums that I had visited and posted the issue, and I am afraid SE might even bring the issue forward to the next UIQ phone, ie, the P1000 which most of all called
