the heart of the company.... ur not Chief Executive, Arun Sarin arent you... or someone with that status... this is starting to feel like a movie where the insider gets more info frm the outsider, whereas the outsider thought they hv more info frm the insider... hhmm... ok back to reality... hehehe... anyways its cool!!

Yea is there any updated firmware available by vodafone?? coz theres some bugs here and there.. as usual..

not yet. it will be SE who release the f/w update as vodafone have nothing to do with repairs. they all go to Intec.

Whats the deal with the changing of tariffs? I was on anytime 30, and i changed it to anytime 200 within 2 months of moving onto anytime 30. Now i want to cut it back to anytime 30 (i have a 3 contract as well, much cheaper to use) and they wont let me, until i have been on my current tariff for 4 months. Now, correct me if im wrong but if i wanted to put my tariff up again it would be done no quibbles. Why is this? Why do i have to wait 4 months if i want to lower my tariff? I dont understand it, ive been a vodafone customer for 4 and a half years.

Also, i forgot to pay my bill. My phone was cut off with no warning, only 2 weeks overdue. Now, ive done this before, but they usually call within a week of the due date to remind me. Then i had to pay a £35 reconnect fee, which i was not too chuffed about. 2 weeks later, i get a bill for the remaining monthly payments, as i had "cancelled my contract and as per service agreement, all remaining monthly payments must be paid". Surely paying the £35 reconnect fee should negate this?

the tariff thing is to stop people going on the higher tariffs to get the phones at a cheaper price and then dropping the tariff a few weeks later to the lowest one (i.e. money).

Which service provider are you with because Vodafone Direct dont charge a re-connection fee due to late payments.

Funny that, im with vodafone direct...they actually cancelled my contract, killed it, after only 2 weeks overdue payment, i guess thats where the reconnection fee comes from. But after only 2 weeks...

Do vodafone actually have any unbranded phones at all? They used to, are those days gone? If they do, how do i get one, on upgrade?

the non branded phones tend to be ones that arent 100% supported on vodafone live!. you can buy all the phones from a vodafone store but they charge full rrp so they can be a lot more than some places. Plus we tend to get phones slightly later than carphone warehouse, phones 4 poo (ooops meant phones4U) lol. this again is down to testing of phones before sale.

anything on vodafone live wont be sold unbranded in a vodafone RETAIL store.
