How would you use mouse gestures on a Px00?

I guess they could still work, but do you really need such a powerful browser for a mobile device?

Firefox is a great browser on the PC, far better than IE in many ways. As far as i'm aware you can actually pause downloads, which makes it far superior in my eyes. For the P800 it woul just be very, very useful

hi

imho they wont succeed in porting firefox, because pxxx has too low memory (approx. 8mb free available) and firefox is a pretty complex browser. on th project site they are also mentiongthat they are targetting for devices 32, 64 mb of mem. so unless they rewrite it (almost) from srath, i think they cannot do it.

i think this port may only be useable on P910 or UIQ 3, because as the previous poster mentioned, there is very little user available ram on a P800 and P900. Still, I think they are building this port from scratch, that is why it will take a while. By the time its done there will probably be a new P series phone anyway.
