I guess the difference between the p800 & the p900/910 is that on the former, Chess & co are optional installations from the supplied CD to drive C, while on the latter, it comes pre-installed on the ROM. Thatz why I am able to remove it at will on my p800.
Assuming thatz the summary of my final paper on this subject, I should get an A+ at the least; right?

Can you not do a half backup and then access the drive via the PC File manager (like when you backup/restore contacts manually) and delete from there?
Just wondering as I don't want to delete mine I user them
