My prev post ripped. Cause wap is glitching. I meant an app that makes 4 vga photos and fuse them into megapixel photo. You cant find anythi like that for s700

Application to merge 4 0.3mp pics to 1 of 1.2 megapixel for the S700i? No need

If you've tasted the Symbian S60 then you know its taste, which doesn't give you satisfaction. If you want the extra apps get a pocket pc that can perform as a GSM phone!

No - but theres no need for it either since S700 allready has a true megapixel cam
besides it doesnt make the picture any better - only bigger - its still only 4 vgashots taken with a vga cam. if you take 4 vga shots from k700 and stich them together in photoshop - it wont make the pictures better - it just makes a bigger picture.
Point still remains - yes theres more you can do with apps for symbian - but not really that many that does it - or not really that many of them which are usefull.
We dont need 50 different videoplayer apps - because the phone I have allready has one. I dont need to get a phone that needs to have apps developed to gain features - I'd rather buy a new phone that has the features I need to begin with - and most of the features that can be developed I wont need.

No it wont - it will still only be a 1mp cam - taking 1mp pictures - which afterwards are being softwaremanipulated into 4mp resolution - without the quality of a real 4mp cam. Its useless.
If you want softwaremanipulated resolutionenhancement - do it in Photoshop - you will get better results.

The app doesn't interpolate it fuses 4 photos into 1. You will get 4 photos of 1mp into one big photo containing those 4 1mp photos

Yeah, but the quality of s700 will still be better than the images created by the software. I still dont think its a good idea to swap ur s700 for 6670.

I know the app and what it does - but it changes nothing - its still only 4 1mp photos taken from a 1mp lens. It will never resemble anything but 4 1mp pictures - fused or not fused. Its still nothing but softwaremanipulation of the available 1mp pixels. Dont think software can miraculesly add info thats not there to begin with.
It just takes 4 1mp pictures - trys to measure the difference between them, adds pixels from all pictures into one and from that interpolates to 4mp. Its still basically 1 mp pictures - each picture doesnt contain more than those pixels. It will never replace a 4mp cam - not even a 2mp cam.
At the most it may improve your 1mp pictures slightly - (if it didnt change resolution) but thats it.
