6230 is a joke. I don't want a cellphone full of features that i will never use without grandma's 'googles'.
At least i know this phone amazes me. When it works. And when i chill out.
But these never ending issues will probably make me switch towards Samsung, as there's the only option i got (I'm a total NO-NO for Nokia after my last experience with a 6800 and 6610i).
govigov: unfortunately i have to wait like 10hours 'til the R600 charger will 'reach me', as it's at my gf's place (she had the R600 when i got the Nokia - bad move from me
). Sure - i will update the thread after i'll try that charger and, if it'l work, i'll give the 'seller' a rest and i won't replace the phone/charger again.
I know FMA is buggy - the thing is it had previously SHOWN something. Even if that was 3000degrees, now it shows 0degrees. Weird soft, weird cellphone

The cellphone loads with the R600 charger very well. Also, my gf knew that i had another Ericsson charger somewhere in my desk -from a T29- and she was right.
Both charges will load the cellphone, only the 'new' one won't do it.
Now. The R600 charger is a BLC13 charger (K700i is a BLC13 charger as well, only that it's from SonyEricsson and not from Ericsson) and the T29...well, i couldn't read, as some info isn't displayed. A BLCX5 charger, it seems (whereas X - uneadable number).
The output differs. Whilst the default charger, that came with the phone, has a 4.9V output, the R600 charger has a 5.1V output and the T29 charger has 4.5V.
Also, the mA value differs.
My question is: will this affect the battery in the 'long-run'? Should i get it replaced? Unfortunately it seems that i would have to replace the cellphone as well

If it is charging well then it should be OK IMO -- your phone will regulate the charging so there's no need to worry.

That's what i figured, but still i'm quite unsure. The battery life is short in anyway you take it (only standby seems to have a good value, but if i use it 'too much' it gets easily drained), and i don't want to have it broke in the forthcoming months. I still can't be 100% confident on my cellphone (sounds like a Nokia, if you ask me
).
Also, i have had the belief that the mA can be adjusted by the cellphone to the appropriate value, but i doubt it can deal with a higher/smaller voltage.

When I first used my phone, it only lasted 2 days max on a full charge. After several charging cycles however it has greatly improved. Now, a full charge can last a little over 3 days at minimal use. If I use it heavily however like play games and listen to music or radio or make a lot of phone calls, I'd be lucky if it will last 15 hours -- but what do you expect, these applications require a lot of power.
