@person who started this thread. You should know that 6600 has also gone through major software updates n while se has managed to attain perfection with r2ae firmware even the latest firmware of 6600 hangs often(my friend got his 6600 exchanged just a couple of days back n another one has his 6600 in service centre at the moment coz it crashed) Also camera of k7 beats 6600's hands down in daylight+k7 takes 1280*960 pics. And sound,display,ui speed,size,ergonomics,weight,looks...dont get me started on these.

All that I will say on this subject is that I had so many problems with my Nokias that I had, I had one phone repaired five times and another had to have the firmware upgraded twice, that I gave up and came to

phones. Since that day the only problem that I have had with a

phone is when my friend dropped my T68 into his pint of beer, but it still worked quite will exept for a dim screen. I have converted friends to

because they got fed up with their nokias.
Everybody has their right to their opinions and some people like nokias and some people like

phones, it is all personal opinion.

Oops forgot to mention lack of dedicated camera and volume(very useful coz i can change volume of mp3 without even lookin at phone) buttons+quickshare, radio n unlimited video recordin in 6600. Also since you dont like makin changes to a new phone you'll love the fact that 6600 doesnt even have a mp3 player...thats sarcasm btw. And bout your bet i started with nokia but moved here quickly n that was a very smart decision.

Everyone is intitled to their opinion. How many people people on esato have told people to buy a

phone as they think that nokias are rubbish. It is very similar to what this guy is saying.

@muzikman
u clearly highlight about updating firmwares.. bugs etc etc... well its goes dwn to wether u like it or not.. if u buy a K700 and it doesnt hv any problem to u... then its like buying any other nokia phones.. coz theres no need to upgrade if u already like it...
upgrading firmware is actually a bonus.. if u look it in a different way.. its not a weakness.. its a bonus... Atleast in SE phones, if theres certain problem.. or improvements u would like.. SE will hopefully improve that by providing a new firmware... whereas Nokia.. once u buy it.. ur stuck to it!! so upgrading is a bonus.. but in the other hand.. if u already love the phone and the UI, than theres really no need for upgrading..
comparing K700 with the 6600?? bad idea dude..

Nokia actually doesn't need to issue upgrades for firmwares, they just release a phone with the minor fix/upgrade in a new casing and with a new model number.
