in Slovenija :

SE has quite nice market share in my opinion , its also been woted as the phone of the year in 2003 and 2004 both categories phone / smartphone !

Nokia is selling more do its what woud we cal more of a mainstream phone company but true mobile intusiasts seem to pick up an SE over it.

other companis are pretty much the same on market from time to time some of there models burst in sales but thats more rellated to a cheap offer from a mobile operator to get you on plan .

cheers laz

It's strange you should say that, as Perth is the only place I've ever seen a SonyEricsson store - (100% official as well!)...

Here in Portugal, blokia is still the preference for the unwise majority

But SE is rising with plenty of strengh...for instance t610 and/or t630 are everywhere!!! I dare to say itīs in second or 3, folowed by Siemens and Moto

But it was really the t610 that started the revolution (even for me)...i and some friends, like Krubach and others, have some role in spreading the Word also We founded the first portuguese SE club

here in my area of Australia, the most popular phones are undoubtedly the cheaper Nokias (some places still sell 3315's here!), and at a guess, it's probably Motorola second, and SE third.

In this house, three of the five phones are SE's (T68i, T230, T20s), and the other two are old bricks (a Savvy and a 5110), which are seldom used.

Intresting that in South East Asia, Sony Ericsson have a better showing. Though I think this may have something to do with the techonolgy aware nature of some of these countries.

Here in the UK, the Nokia Soapbar (3xxx) is still very common, because its cheap, easy to use, and does the two primary functions well (make calls, send/recieve text).

However, it does depend on WHERE you are. Here in the City, the SE T610 is still very popular (even more so than the T630), and the K700 is being used a LOT.

But the Nokias are still popular as ever.

Not so good on the east side of the states. It's mostly moto, nokia and samsung around here... the only se models available in the shops right now are theT237, T637, and z500 all on cingular.

Hope things improve in Peru

Well, i couldn't be bothered to read the entire article so...

In the UK we are doing well!

Orange especially promote products well, as do O2 with their X phones and Vodafone with Sharp!

SE is doing ok here in Jamaica...we have the T105, T200, T600, T310 (my baby which I lost), T68i, T230, T630, Z200, Z600, T610, P900 and P910, P800 and now the K700 (which I will be getting soooooon)!!

However, Nokia is still the number one brand. Lots of persons liked the 3310 (now replaced here with 2600) because it lasted them long, good signal and it was durable.

The T105 has spoiled SE's image in some people's mind. Many complain about the poor signal reception on it. I have experienced it myself. Many persons bring them in for repairs when they get a no network on the screen. I hope though that as time goes by more and more persons will like SE.

Especially since K700 is out now...I will be buying it and marketing it hard!!!!!!
