i also noticed that,,,

batteries from older cellphone tends to last longer..
maybe because of new applications that tends to eat more battery energy...

but, as far as i notice, Li-ion performs well rather that a polymer..is this true?

But in the website perse, they are pointing out that all Polymer batteries tend to last longer, like for example the T610

Older models of cellphones have very few power-hungry features so the battery obviously would last longer compared to newer cellphone models -- that is of course assuming the same mAH capacity.

Li-ion batteries in general are more stable compared to li-polymer batteries, specially the earlier li-polymer batteries. Newer Li-polymer however have significantly improved in quality, researchers even predicted that soon Li-Polymer batteries will outperform Li-Ion batteries and will also be much cheaper.
