Se do not have to get a new product out each time nokia changes its numbers. When re does release one handset, it makes sure that this single handset will take on a lot of models.

whizkidd. most european phones are for asia aswell.
only the J200 is for asia and not for europe.
and most high end phones aren't really for europe, there for japan
oyea and what about our friends in north and latin america? they'll be lucky to have 3G in 2years.

I have to agree with others here. While a company like Nokia releases 40 phones per year, ony 3 or 4 of them can be concidered as "new" phones. The rest are only variants on same theme or small improvments of earlier failures.

i have to disagree with u all, sorry.se strategy may have worked in the past when they were a few well established manufactures and phone handsets were very expensive .now the same system does not apply why wait for an overdue se phone when i can get a motorola or htc phone which has equal/better specs than an upcoming se phone and for cheaper.timing is everything and im afraid by the time se get their act together on that point they stand to lose out .ie between the time se announced the s700 and the time it was released there was no need for me to buy it anymore

Specs alone do not maketh a killer handset. SE has not held the high end by churning out handSet after handset.

Listen all SE fans. Why you keep on talking about SE and high end phones ? ? ? That's utter rubbish ! In the past may have been so,but certainly not in 2005.Let's play a game and see who is the high end master ! But please be open minded and unbiased.Althou I could'nt care less which manufacturer builds my cellphone, I am going to represent NOKIA just to give to some of you a hard attack.I am going to throw into battle the 6630 (for a start) and lets compare features to any device you chose from the SE stable.Looks are a matter of personal taste so lets disregard thous for now.Who is in for the game ?

But it isn't us that says SE is high-end, (although I personally believe they rule the high-end), most independant phone reviewers on the web agree and market analysts also confirm that SE have carved themselves out a niche in the market for high-end phones.
Why aren't the other manufacturers competing with SE for producing top-notch gear???? BECAUSE THEY CANT

How many high end models does SE have? Two? Three? Is the K700 high end?
