The R380World is a classic. With that phone Epoc really started. Epoc later developed/was called into the Symbian OS. So you could say the R380 is the craddle of live for the Symbian OSand the smartphone genre. It was way ahead it's time when it came out and there are places out there, that still sell this phone. Two colours are available: classic blue and desert green.

Ericsson's World phones were dualband phones that could be used atound the globe : they had 900 and 1900 frecuencies, when usual dualband phones have 900 and 1800 (in Europe) or 850 and 1900 (in America).

In fact that make them "almost" worldproof as in some countries, like Brasil, the only frecuency available is 1800 mhz...

But it was, I guess, a cheap way to make world phones (triband phones were very rare at this time I suppose).
