My S700i that I just updated to R3K still makes a horrible noise when you take a photo, even in silent mode. It could be dependant on which market the phone is designed for, like UK versions cant be silenced.

i got this error just before the upgrade procedure:

but i got my phone from a shop and not from a mobil provider, so its not branded. i dont know why i got this message:(

I got the same message - I have what was previously a branded Vodafone handset that I unlocked and removed the branding on davinci.

Has anyone else got this to work with a previously branded handset???
