This Place Are having a monitor sale this week, with a 15" TFT with 16ms response time going for around 86 quid plus VAT (so probably about 95 quid with). I got my monitor there (17" Digimate) and it was delivered quicker than expected, and its an awesome screen. Check it out!

april is an intresting month , i reckon we can see many new technologies coming to market starting from april . such as dual cores cpu's, ati's r520 (rumoured as x950 ) etc . if u want all the new tech i advice u to wait a bit, welll get a pretty clear picture about all these after cebit . anyways my configuration for u atm is
AMD based :
mobo - Abit's WN-2S+ , dual opteron mobo with sli , this is one of the best ones around . power it with two opteron Model 250 or model 252.
two 6800s in sli
2* 76gb wd raptors in raid 5 or 0 (ur choice)
wd 400gb hdd
2* 1gb pc 3500 ecc memory in dual channel (go for ocz or cosair)
creative audigy 4 pro soundcard
cool it with at least liquid cooling ........
rest.......................
this one will rock

When it comes to ram i'd only look at Corsair or kingston.
Kingston is VERY reliable and corsair was a dream to use. (damn tweakable thats for sure)
