> Slow Ericsson (and SonyEricsson) Menus
Bookmark topic
The thing is this. When you plug (for example) the MP3-player into the phones that support it, new menus and stuff appears on the screen. This apparently does not work on R600.
I never owned the MP3-player, but as I recall, it came out AFTER the T28 was released (which was the first phone with the new platform). Would this suggest that the mp3-player uploads menu-info or an "applet" into the phone when it is plugged in? I believe there was a communicam from the T28-generation but it worked as a separate conventional digicam and connected to a PC by USB or so.
I'm just pissed they don't RELEASE the info you need to make devices that plugin into phones of that platform. Maybe then people like kodak, hp, casio, canon, and so on, would make plugin-devices for these phones (just look at palm).
If you hear me now, sony ericsson - look at palm, casio, etc, and T A K E A H I N T.

T66 and R600 are fast because they're not Ericsson phones. They're Arima phones.

And oh yeah. T20 is not slow. Have you tried it?
And oh, the T20 can not show remaining battery time either.

Well, the T20s is slow but the T20e is quite fast. T20e has the EMS software.

It seems that the current T610 firmware (R1L) has some kind of a memory leak. The longer it's on, the slower it works...
