My friend owns a K750i with R1A044 and he can send MMS of size over 200KB without any problem.

i dont know....but i have the same prob...100kb limit....i think they will fix it in the bug with the next fix...not the current one... its not solved .....i think these people have to look at esato at some point of time....
as we always support them....

I don't know if this thing is now changed... but I have to admit that I still think that the limit came from network.. we have a service to send free MMS from any email just send email and write the full phone number ( including country code ) followed by @mms.com.bh in the TO field... put any attachement and send it... it's limited to 100 KB but the message it self take some data so the attached files must less than 80KB

If you guys with a K750 would be kind and try this:
*Open lens cover
*Chose video capture mode
*go in settings and chose the second menu to the right. something like video type ("Videoläge" in Swedish) and there chose for MMS.
*go in the settings and chose the third menu to the right Video size.
*Chose large size
*Start filming (NEW BUG! You don’t se in the square in top of screen any green colour filling the square as you film) as long as you can and take notice how many sec. you can film.
*now go in to settings again
*Chose the third menu and chose small video size.
Start filming again and take notice how long you can film.
I can't film longer than 10sec. regardless of video size!!
My both files went like 90kB!
*New Bug Found*
The square in the top of the screen doesn’t fills with green when you film.

Can you not read, or do you refuse to understand, or is it too complicated. It is a NETWORK limitation issue. Not a "bug". Why does everything have to be a bug or a problem. Second, did it ever occur to you to simply call your operator and ask them? Probably not as it seems you like to speculate rather than know.

As DCUK says, the network does limit the size but the firmware can also limit so as not to confuse peeps. My O2 branded S700 would limit videos to 100 kb or about 30s regardless of which setting was used and this was only fixed with a update. Now I can record until mem runs out but the network still limits MMS size.
Mobile email is better. I recently sent a 300kb + email from my phone so there is no limit there.
EDIT: The O2 phone limit was 300kb and the network limit was 100kb.

Its just amusing how you walk in here thinking you know it all when in reality you know only a fraction of the facts. Also it might help if you stop thinking everybody is making things up when you fail to comprehend them. This is a restriction which was started by the networks....the manufacturers imposed the same restriction in phones to make things easy but the people whose networks dont have a 100kb mms limitation like myself and the guy who started this thread lost out in this game. My k7 wont send bigger messages than 100kb....Se restriction. My 3230 wont send messages bigger than 100kb either....Nokia restriction. However since the 3230 is a smartphone all i need to do is install an app and voila....No more limitations. A mate of mine can send messages as big as 300kb from his 6630 without any apps as nokia raised the limit for that phone. As for the unfortunate k750 user who has started this thread, i'm afraid only a firmware upgrade can help you mate as you have already figured out.

Yes, the network can limit the size of the MMS and they usually do. But it's usually limited by the device itself also. It's pretty simple to try. Try to send big MMS with your device, if it refuses to send it out of the device then there's a limitation in the device. At this stage network limitation has nothing to do with it yet. Network limitation is implemented in the server side (ie. in the MMSC) not in the client side (device). You can usually see the max. MMS size for the device from it's UAProf.
