Its probably worth trying a firmware update using SEUS. This could sort the problem.

Sony Ericsson Update service. You do it from the SE support pages using the DSS25 that came with the P910i. I am surprised you dont know what it is as you have been a member here for a long time.

I know its hard to believe, but i have never done an update on any phone that i have had as i always felt it was unnecassary.
