Nagdalawang-isip tuloy ako to go ahead with the R1K upgrade to w800 and just went straight to SE glorietta for the P500 firmware upgrade. sa susunod if i'm getting an expensive phone dun na ako sa 1-year warranty kahit medyo mas mahal, para may peace of mind...natatakot tuloy kasi ako ngayon na i-maximize capabilities ng hardware ng phone ko dahil wala nang warranty hehehe! i think maganda yong choices mo sa pagbili mo, both in timing and source.

oo nga, for me if you're buying a 20+k cellphone or any other electronics item, you'd prefer adding a few thousand bucks for that peace of mind, thinking that you will have to PAY to get it fixed if something goes wrong after just a month.

tnx. nagkataon lang, tumutulo na laway nun nakita sa SE website bago irelease, kaya nung nakita kong available na sa globe, medyo nag-alanganin pa kung kukunin na o hindi, pero hindi rin nakatiis kaya kinagat na hehe

noobie asking.
clarify ko lang po, if I bought my k750i sa globe (under g plan) and may nangyari within warranty period, pwede ko sya dalhin diretso sa Semicon for repairs at no cost?
Gnun din po ba kung sa smartnet (buendia) ko dalhin. I mean no cost pa rin?

(tagal na akong hindi kumukuha sa globe so di ko na alam ngayon if ganung sticker pa rin ang sistemang gamit.) if walang sticker & me malapit naman sayong smartnet or semicon, i think it's worth a visit. mas matagal pag idadaan mo pa sa globe.
libre lang yan pag yong problem eh normal use ka lang within the warrranty period. me kilala ako ginagawang martilyo (prod designer sya) ung Nokia 2010 nya noon, pero 3 beses pa rin pinalitan under warranty...pero alam ko hindi kasama sa "normal use" yong pagmamartilyo...
