i cant believe somebody compares the nokia with mercedes.....sorry but did you ever drive one...no matter which one....
i mean i had some telephones include nokia motorola siemens and ericsson but even when im very angry about the customer service at ericsson ...i have to say i love my T68....
i just hope that ericsson wakes up about his customer service....
i called them today and asked for the nearest service point...the guy said why...i was surpriced but i answered because i want a software update...says he sorry sir but you have to send the phone in to minnesota and it could take about 30 days....
is this even a comment worth ?
without cellphone for 30 days....
but here is even a better one...i wrote 3 emails to them....not one got answered beside the computer generated message that they recieved the mails....
what the hell is going on at ericsson customer service....
so here is my comment great job you guys in the engineering but go to the customer service and show them how to work or to do a good job....otherwise they are the one which killing the reputation of ericsson

The customer service in Sweden is good. Quick to answer, but regarding some technichal questions they haven't got a clue...

The only problem I've had with them is that their web-page e-mail service don't send mails (and no warning or error message) if cookies are disabled, which delayed the answers for a couple of questions I had (until I realized this was the problem).

@Orka
You’re 100% right, a mobile is first made to communicate...! But SMS is also a very useful way to do that ! And if you read many post at Esato, it seems that a lot of people are writing more than 20 SMS a day...! That’s really a lot...
However, I’m not writing that much, but I can assure you that you’re really lucky if it’s easier to write SMS in greek compare to the Siemens, because it’s definitely not the case if you’re writing in french...!!! (you have to type about three times more for the same message, just because the T9 in the T68 do not know when you want an apostrophe... which is used very often... and the Siemens did that very well...!!)
It seems that we are all different in the way we use our phone, and for example jh67 is more interested about his timer, a lot of people want badly the MMS function (it will probably cost a fortune...), but in my case the T9 is the most disappointing thing in our fabulous T68... and without this problem, it will be perfect !!!

ROLUD : I dont know if the Timer-function is that important to me. I could use it sometimes,..in business-meetings and so on.
It would be, according to other people, a nice thing and usable as well.

I would like to try out the mms too, but then again, I dont think anyone will use this a lot,..to expensive !

Personally I dont write a lot of sms-messages, therefore it isnt that important to me. I use my phone for other things.

As a designer, some of the stuff, I look forward to, will be the photoalbum, and e.g. themes.
-----------------------

support is very good here,..they reply the day after or the same day.

Regarding Ericsson service point : well, my service center is almost right next to me.
Really nice people,..and of course I get the upgrades for free, as promised.
No problems at all

To Rolud:
Ok, I cannot disagree with you. Maybe you are unlucky. But take always into account that this particular phone was made to cover the entire planet and not only a single country or a specific language. I think that ericsson did it well. In addition, I always believe that one sigle product cannot fullfil the needs of every customer. It is really dificult. Always we will have complains about a single feature from a complex product like T68.
So, I suppose we have to live with it.
I have also some complaints for the phone, minor ones, but it is not really problem. No matter what is the perspective you see the T68 it is really fantastic.

Skoda are good cars, at least you buy the best value for your money. Nokia are not so "honnest" to its owner. Usually are overpriced, like the christmas tree called 8310

Nokia at the moment appear to be putting the same stuff into it's phones, then just re-branding with a different number. At least with ericsson shoes they have new ideas. This message was posted from a T300
