My mistake about the footer/footnote confusion. I will try a few documents to see how the registered version fares.

About the folders issue: Try to create folders from the "edit" option in the menu pane. These folders normally appear in the documents folder on whatever disc you created them. Then copy some documents into them. All I can say is that on my P910, with the registered version, I can create subfolders at will and they all show up in the menu pane.

To remove the word docs from these folders and re create and name new folders via the phone app is a long winded task i need to avoid.. it is easier to use file manager, find the folder/document and open it from there!
