How does the iphone handle playing normal 3gp files for example something encoded from m3 for a k800? Does it stretch it to full screen or play it cropped?
i was under the impression that H263 playback was not supported from iphone but someone on an apple forum was adamant it played fine.

You must be talking in terms of WIFI. But even then I dont see how it would be faster unless maybe SEs have the slower of tghe 2 wifi speeds, b or g i cant remember which is the faster of the 2.
Is there an application yet to record video?
Also may I ask how you all find your battery lifes?

at this point in time the opera browser is getting it's but kicked in terms of performance against the safari browser... s60 or iphone..
SE's wifi is also slow in comparison... not just cause it's B only.. but because it's just slow for some reason.. whenever i did speedtests with my p1i every other phone windows mobile or s60 was at least 5-6x faster...

i'll check that for you tonight.. i've used mp4 files from m3 that work great... but not files that are wrapped in the 3gp extension..
h264 works fine though..
video is displayed in normal encoded res... and can also be stretched to fit...
