how do you know what firmware your running on your k850i?
Go to Menu > Settings > Update Service > Software Version
I don't seem to have 'update service' as a choice in my settings/general. Is this a vodafone thing? How do I find out which version I have if this is the case, please?

What do you mean the touch screen activates at times that you don't want it to?
Mostly it's fine for me... although using the alarm, 'snooze' is on the touch screen - I quite often fumble about and rub something else, meaning I miss my snooze... which is bloody annoying.

Just press any key, like on any SE phone. It will snooze until you turn it off.
You have probably touched the screen and selected off.
Hit the side buttons instead, volume, camera etc.

I saw someone saying a while back that there is a new firmware out. Anyone have it yet? Any improvments?

Those who say that there screen isn't loose, can you specify. My k850i is W44 and when i press the screen or just touch it I can hear and feel it moving (especially in the upper left corner). Other than that, the build quality is quite good.
So if you press the screen can you feel or hear it moving at all or just a little bit (I mean those who say that their screen isn't loose)?

Anyone purhcased the K850i recently what is the build quality like now....??? We are in Feb... So wanted an update on what is going on with it???
Long term issues being the colour is coming of the buttons and the dpad... which is not good at all.
Cheers
