@all cam modders:
The drivers you are releasing seem to have one common problem: Any and all photos(or videos) taken seem to have horizontal bands. This is seen in the viewfinder and is carried over onto the photos(or videos) when they are taken. This effect is present under all lighting conditions but sunlight makes it far better(i.e. reduces it).
There also seems to be an issue with some frames in video mode having a green or red tinge to them. This also happens with normal photos (sometimes half the photo is normal and half is green). Again - this is especially bad when the cam is used under bad conditions.
I think that these issues are due to the abnormal(i.e. changed) refresh rates of your cam drivers. Please release a version in which all screen/cam refresh rates are set at their default values (including the video mode - make it 15 fps again.)

Does this happen with standard camdriver looking at sample pics, i don't see this.

I reverted to the original cam drivers and the lines are still there. So its either a defect in the H/W or simply dust on the sensor. I'll clean up tonight and tell you if I could correct it.

u need to rename it camdriver0.dat or it won't work, and 06 for sharping is too sharp and will cause jagged edges on things.

Hi.
Thanks 2 all modders of this undeservedly fogotten phone. I watch closely ur great job. Now the number of driver versions is enough to compare their results & firstly I desided to do this for the most frequently used mode Auto in good light conditions. I used some modded camdrivers being in my sight noticed in this thread (2.4b, 2.4c by Chris, 2.3 by DK, 2.32 by SonarikK510, 2.51, 2.52 by Salambaba, 2.6(3) by number1) & others (2.41, 2.42 by Antik). Conditions for each of the competitors were:
- 15:00-16:30, fine weather,
- tryed to avoid shaking hands (supports, light conditions, several shots etc),
- macro focusing shot,
- auto focusing shot,
- landscape shot, focusing set to auto
- landscape shot, focusing set to infinite,
- all other set to auto.
Here is my IMHO:
All the results r almost the same. But... Salambaba, ur 2.52 is GREAT! The best combination sharpness, exposure & natural colors in auto mode (IMHO). And less of over... (OVERsharpening, OVERexposure, OVERprocessing, loss of details etc). May be it were the best light conditions... don't know. But a little yellowish.
Macro, 2.52 by Salambaba
Macro, 2.6(3) by number1
Landscape+auto, 2.52 by Salambaba
Landscape+auto, 2.4c by Chris
As for landscapes, the differences r not due to focusing. If we set focusing to infinite, we'll see the same results (may be less sharp).
Mmm... resized pictures... they don't illustrate exactly.
I can post other illustratons if some1 will.
&l wait for opinions of other testers.

It's interesting... I noticed Salambaba's files have bigger size in most cases. May be smaller compression is not a bad idea? Whatever they say...
But may be I confuse cause with effect
